Former Boston Celtics player Kendrick Perkins made an honest confession during an interview. Perkins said, “I was scared as hell going into Game 7 against LeBron James. This was the only time that I actually prayed that something happened to him at practice. I was like, let us get breaking news that LeBron has, you know, tore his ACL. I’m not even lying, I’m not exaggerating, that’s how terrified I was of LeBron.”

As for Kendrick Perkins, he did not have to fear LeBron James anymore because he later joined the Cleveland Cavaliers during the 2017-18 season.

LeBron James is always a threat for the Celtics

Interestingly, among all the teams in the NBA, the Boston Celtics are one of LeBron James’ favorite opponents. The four-time NBA champion has had numerous great moments against the Celtics, like the 2018 Eastern Conference Finals.
