Recently, Luka Doncic appeared in a video on the Dude Perfect YouTube channel. Members of the Dude Perfect group were excited to interact with the Dallas Mavericks superstar. Through the 20-minute episode, the group presented Luka with activities that ranged from a basketball game to a quiz and a go-karting session with basketball hoops on the back. Furthermore, in the video, Doncic faced his fears and broke a sweat when least expected.

Luka Doncic has lived in Texas for five years now. In these years, the Slovenian phenom has spent time interacting with members of the community. So it was safe for the popular YouTube group to assume that the All-Star is aware of the culture and the way of life in Texas. With this in mind, the Mavs star was presented with a quiz on Texas. In the first round, Luka was required to complete popular phrases used in Texas. While he aced this round, he donned the traditional Texas attire which included a cowboy hat and boots. However, his real challenge came during the second round of the quiz.

Away from the court, Luka Doncic was drenched in sweat

In this round, the 23-year-old Slovenian was shown the state mammal. He instantly recognized it to be an Armadillo but was skeptical about touching it. He then asked if the Armadillo was alive and maintained his distance from the animal, afterwards naming it ‘Stevie’. The explanation behind the name was straightforward. Luka said that the armadillo looked like a Stevie.

Just when the 2019 NBA Rookie of the year overcome his fear of an armadillo, he was placed in a challenging position again. At first, Luka was informed about the different types of poisonous snakes that are native to Texas. Following this, three boxes of snakes were placed in front of him. Luka repeatedly refused to be around these snakes. He looked petrified of the hissing boxes.

Luka’s task revolved around identifying the poisonous snake among the three boxes and throwing a lid on it. Before he did so, he ran to the other side of the room and pointed at his choice. Towards the end of this scary segment, Luka was visibly drenched in sweat. Nevertheless, the NBA Star had faced his fears and as a reward, he was awarded a cow and a whip.

Hooping around and not sweating

Before the quiz, Luka Doncic played a round of one-on-one basketball with Cody, a member of Dude Perfect. The rules of the game stated that the first to reach 11 points would win. For the Mavs star, this was an easy task as he toyed around with Cody and didn’t let him claim a single point.

Luka reached 11 points within minutes while Cody struggled to get possession of the ball. A member of the Dude Perfect squad pointed out that Cody was dripping in sweat, contrary to Luka. The member said, “Cody, why are you sweating? He’s (Luka) not broken a sweat.” However, Luka was quite unaware then that he too is going to be in a similar situation as Cody after finishing the basketball game.
