Pippen said: “I said there’s no there’s no greatness in a team sport. Let me get that clear. There’s no greatest in baseball, there’s no greatest in football, there’s no greatest in basketball. And there are outstanding individuals, but that don’t make them the greatest.”

Pippen believes only individual sports can have one greatest player because it is a solo effort. But when it comes to team sports, the team’s effort is what gets the job done. While that may be a point, an individual can play a big role in the team’s success. And, both Michael Jordan and LeBron James are great examples of that as they were the major reason their team could win.
