During the match against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden, Stephen Curry broke Ray Allen’s three-point record. It was indeed a historical moment for the Warriors’ superstar and an important point in the history of NBA.

Curry gifted Rolex watches to Andre Iguodala and Draymond Green after the game to express his gratitude toward them. Kevin Durant, currently playing for the Nets but formerly a part of the Warriors, posted the following statement on Twitter:

Curry and Durant won two championships together as teammates. Durant is third on the list of assists on Curry’s threes, having played together for three seasons.

Ballislife shared on Twitter the list of players who helped Curry to achieve the three-pointer scorer status. It included Draymond Green on the top with 479 points, Andre Iguodala on the second with 168 points, and Kevin Durant on the third position with 153 points.

During the time he spent with Curry at the Warriors, Durant played a crucial role. He was considered to be one of the best players to play alongside the Golden State Warriors superstar.

According to many reports, Curry and the Nets didn’t get along whenever they clashed on the court. As Curry reached his new milestone, Durant used a tweet to call him a “god” and congratulated him for his record.

It is not sure about the exact sentiment that Durant is invoking in the Rollie tweet but one can be sure that the Nets superstar has nothing but respect for Curry. There is a possibility that in 2022 they will face off against one another.
