Drama is never in short storage when it comes to the NBA. With injuries, new additions, trades, and feuds, the league does not fail to entertain its fans. Although, one thing fans hate to see is their favorite player getting injured. The current three-point king, Stephen Curry, continues to entertain his fans for fourteen straight seasons, although he will be taking a short break for a while, due to another injury. 

A recent report from the Golden State Warriors, which gave an update on Curry’s injury, has raised anxiety among the fans. With the team having a mediocre season so far after winning the championship last season, fans predict a possible downfall

Reports reveal Warriors star Stephen Curry to be re-evaluated after All-Star game

In the Warriors’ recent game with the Dallas Mavericks, Stephen Curry left in the final quarter after suffering an injury. The team informed later that the guard had suffered partial tears to his superior tibiofibular ligaments and interosseous membrane. Though fans were happy about the win against the Mavs, Curry’s injury has caused great concern.

The Golden State Warriors on their Twitter page shared a tweet on Curry’s injury update. The 6’3″ guard is to be re-evaluated only after the All-Star break.

The 2x MVP had made a return from a shoulder injury a few weeks back. With another injury in such a short span, fans continue to doubt the Warriors’ future. The team currently stands as the 9th seed after falling to the 12th seed a few weeks back. However, with their main star injured, fans are worried about their chances this season.

Can the Warriors manage without Curry? 

It’s no doubt the Warriors are one of the best teams in the league. With numerous experienced and veteran players on the team, fans believe the Warriors can bounce back without Curry. Klay Thompson and Jordan Poole continue to lead the team from the front during the main star’s absence. Thompson hit 12 three-pointers in the very next game against the Oklahoma City Thunder to lead the Warriors to a blowout win.

Poole’s ability to fill in Curry’s position is to be noted. The young guard is averaging 20.8 points and 4.5 assists coming off the bench. Moreover, Gary Payton II has joined the team again after a trade earlier today.
