Shaquille O’Neal, one of the greatest basketball players of all time, is now a dubstep DJ. Better known as DJ Diesel, Shaquille has managed to wow his fans with groovy bass music. After spending 19 years on the basketball court, Shaq is finally pursuing his passion by performing at music festivals.

And who better to support this latest venture than family? When Shaq announced his own music festival, Shaq’s Bass All-stars Festival, his son, Myles O’Neal, hyped him up on social media.

Myles hypes Shaq’s Summer of Bass

Myles O’Neal is Shaq’s stepson. And the former NBA legend shares a close bond with him. Myles is also a DJ artist and has been spotlighted on TV shows like The Hills: New Beginnings, Shaunie’s Home Court, Shaq Life and Basketball Wives

Myles O’Neal supports Shaq’s new endeavor in the realm of electronic music. Shaq has performed at several music festivals, including Tomorrowland, which is one of the largest dance music festivals in the world. Myles appreciates Shaq’s musical pursuit. As proof, he proudly shared his stepfather’s summer line-up on his Instagram.

Shaq’s Summer of Bass consists of his favorite DJs, who’ll be touring around all summer. The Summer of Shaq is going to be epic as he goes around town, dropping the coolest beats. “Gunna be a long summer, sighed Myles, as he spread the word for Shaq’s Summer of Bass. This is because he knows that his stepfather, DJ Diesel, will be on the road for three good months.

Shaquille O’Neal bonds with his stepson over EDM

Myles doesn’t dribble the ball like his stepfather. However, they have one thing in common: their love for EDM. Shaquille O’Neal has six kids. Shareef, Shaqir, Me’Arah and Amirah have followed in their father’s footsteps and pursued basketball. However, Myles has been poles apart. Apart from showing off his DJing skills, Myles has also launched his lifestyle brand, Myles Apparel.

Despite not choosing to be a part of the basketball world, Myles has a lot in common with Shaq. They both are brilliant entrepreneurs and, of course, they love music. As a result, the father-son duo performed together at the Encore Beach Club in Las Vegas. They call themselves the “O’Neal Boys”, which is quite adorable!
