Recently, O’Neal put light on a horrifying incident that took place in New Orleans that happened earlier this month. Shaq spoke about how he felt broken upon hearing the news of a mother allegedly stabbing her toddlers. As a father of six children, O’Neal couldn’t believe what had happened and it made him emotional.

On the latest episode of his podcast, ‘The Big Podcast With Shaq‘, O’Neal suggested to his co-hosts, Nischelle Turner and Anthony ‘Spice’ Adams that they add a new segment called ‘My Heart Hurts’. Shaq asked them whether they heard the news about the dreadful incident.

I don’t get emotional but that right there made me cry coz they showed the pictures of the babies”, O’Neal admitted. Turner concurred with Shaq and revealed what shocked her the most, “She posted a video after doing it“. O’Neal lamented, “That bothers me. It does.

Shaq then expressed his disappointment in what the world has come to. He said, “I would never think that the world would be like this in 2022“. Growing up watching the iconic series ‘The Jetsons’, O’Neal expected everyone to live a happy life with robots gaining prominence. He said that the accident took a lot out of him.

Turner revealed that she’d love to take care of kids and she’ll make sure they have a fun time. O’Neal followed suit and said that he would be a great babysitter for kids.

O’Neal said, “Uncle Shaq ain’t got no curfew. You can eat as much candy as you want, they can jump on bed, swim in the pool“. Shaq himself is a very loving and caring father. It’s not surprising to see the Los Angeles Lakers legend sobbing over the news of the horrific incident.
