His ex-wife, Shaunie Henderson recently shared a video on social media showing her daughter Me’arah practicing her three-point stroke. The video has caused some buzz online. While fans praised Me’arah’s shooting, the siblings got into a debate about who the best shooter in the family actually is.

Is Me’arah O’Neal better at shooting than her father, Shaquille O’Neal?
The post, which was uploaded by ‘Hoop4Life’, seemingly indicated that Me’arah was the best shooter in the family. After mother Shaunie shared the video, it prompted the siblings, Shareef and Amirah, to respond. “That’s my girl,” Amirah wrote while adding, “But no, I’m the best.” On the other hand, Shareef agreed to the claim and wrote, “Most def.”

Even though Me’arah is a junior in high school, she is making waves over the internet with her basketball skills. She is one of the, if not the best scorers in the family from inside the arc, as well as outside. However, Shaq probably won’t be pleased with the claims his children are making.

Shaquille O’Neal calls himself Black Stephen Curry
Back in 2020, the Los Angeles Lakers legend had called himself the “Black Steph Curry” after draining a couple of 3-pointers in a shooting contest. This led to some hilarious comments online as Shaq seemed pretty confident about his take. However, his son Shareef backed his father’s claim. “He actually makes shots like when it’s not in the NBA game,” Shareef said.

As much as her skills are credited to her father, we can all admit that Me’arah didn’t get the shooting touch from her father. During his career, the four-time NBA champion shot 4.5% from deep and averaged a dreadful 52.7% from the charity stripe.
