At the end of it all, Anthony Davis, the generational forward wrote the tale of a Lakers win on the road. However, the Warriors had their chance to get back in the proceedings. Jordan Poole had a shot to tie the game with 10 seconds remaining. But his shot selection irked many, including Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley.

The Warriors staged a ferocious comeback. A 14-0 run got them within a shot’s distance to tie the game. The Lakers double-teaming Stephen Curry meant someone else had to take the three. Who better than Poole who had gone 6 for 10 before his last attempt? Draymond Green found him with ample space.
Shockingly, Poole didn’t utilize the time. Instead, he pulled from nearly three-quarters of the half. The shot wasn’t close, and the reigning champions lost their Chase Center prowess.
