Over the past few years, there have been many conspiracy theories that legend Stevie Wonder is not actually blind. Wonder is an all-time great, and he has 25 Grammy awards to this date. And he has delivered some timeless classics and has performed at some iconic events.

But there have been multiple people who do not believe that Wonder is not actually blind. His close friend and legendary singer Lionel Richie, has also said it a few times. And now Shaq seems to have a similar kind of story.

Shaquille O’Neal says Stevie Wonder made him shut up in the elevator

Shaq narrates an incident with Stevie Wonder which made him rethink everything about the star. He was recently on the Drink Champs podcast and he recalls his experience with the legend. He said,” We lived in the same building on Wilshire. You can park in the front or you can park at the bottom. I am already in the elevator. He got on the elevator though. I’m standing in the corner, I’m seeing but I don’t want to say anything.”

“He like What up Diesel and he hit his button and got off on his floor…”

Shaq was shaken to his core. And he also said that when Wonder came into the elevator and looked at Shaq and he nodded his head. Shaq was dumbstruck, and he was speechless after that point.

Shaq did not reveal this story for a long time and he finally opened up about it on Inside the NBA. And now he repeated the story on the podcast. Stevie Wonder was born six weeks premature, which caused him his blindness. But over the years, many have speculated that he’s not actually blind. This could have been catastrophic for the legend’s massive name but so far it has been safe. But he definitely left Shaquille O’Neal speechless.
