The Timberwolves are currently the 9th seed in the Western Conference with a 20-21 record, trying to earn a spot in the playoffs. Though Rudy Gobert’s addition seemed great, the team is underperforming as they are struggling to get a playoff spot. Amidst this, a comparison post between the Wolves Center and Jazz rookie Walker Kessler is going viral. The post showed the rookie averaging 1.9 blocks per game, while Gobert is averaging 1.4. Shaquille O’Neal shared the post on his Instagram story.

The post has caught the eyes of the fans, as they debate about the trade. Interestingly, Kessler was also a part of the Gobert trade.

Shaquille O’Neal made a statement on Rudy Gobert after Utah Jazz’s playoff loss to Dallas Mavericks in the 2021-22 season. He said, “Rudy’s a great player, a fine defensive player but he offers nothing on the offensive end.” 

Shaq was asked if he would Gobert would have held him to 12 points. The Los Angeles Lakers legend replied, “12 yeah, in the first 3 minutes. It’s against my religion for somebody to hold me one on one. I take that personally.”
