A recent video of Stephen Curry making five full-court shots in a row left the NBA world shocked. Many fans believed because of the Golden State Warriors superstar’s undeniable reputation that he did make the shots at the Warriors’ facility after practice on December 4. However, the clip later turned out to be fake. Meanwhile, the same video led to Shaquille O’Neal creating his own hilarious version of full-court shots on a recent edition of NBA on TNT. The Big Diesel also declared ‘war’ after his video didn’t turn out to be exactly what he had anticipated.

Shaquille O’Neal recreated Curry’s fake full-court shots video

In the hysterical video posted by NBA on TNT, O’Neal is seen trying to make full-court shots. However, he ended up missing all the shots, with some of them hitting the camera crew and the staff members on the set. Shaq’s shots hitting the production team was obviously a spoof and was included in the video without the knowledge of the Biesel.

Moreover, co-host Kenny Smith asked Shaquille O’Neal if the crew had told him that they would edit his video like Stephen Curry. Smith revealed that the same thing had happened to him in the past. However, Shaq didn’t seem to be quite as amused as the others.

In response, the Los Angeles Lakers legend proclaimed, “Okay! Alright! This means war.”

Further, Ernie Johnson Jr. asked Shaquille if his attempts were a result of Stephen Curry’s video. The former Lakers superstar admitted to being inspired by the video and claimed that he had the capability of making full-court shots. However, the co-hosts Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith did not believe Shaq’s claims. Hence, O’Neal declared ‘war’ on the show staff and crew members for not making his video look like Stephen Curry’s viral clip.

Stephen Curry makes a confession about the viral video

Stephen Curry admitted to his full-court video being a fake. The 2022 Finals MVP had his one of his worst games of the season during the loss against the Pacers. The guilt-laden Warriors superstar opened up about the video during the post-game conference.

Stephen Curry admited that the video was doctored. He stated” I’ll let them be the judge of that but it’s an ultimate compliment to probably be amazed by it but not think it’s outlandish that it could be real…I did make two of them, just in case anybody was wondering. I used them all then, I didn’t make any tonight.”

Curry certainly seemed disappointed by his low-scoring performance against the Indiana Pacers. However, he reckoned that it was a compliment that fans believed the video to be real and not something unbelievable.

Curry is known for making full-court shots as a part of his pregame ritual. He is a three-point scoring master, who pulls off amazing trick shots from a shocking range. Therefore, the fans felt that the Warriors superstar might have pulled off something insane like he so often does.
