When asked about the meeting in The Big Podcast with Shaq, the NBA legend divulged details regarding their relationship and the photo.

Shaq said, “First of all, I don’t kiss and tell. Second of all, those people are my friends. When you wanna become great, you look at other great ones. The respect is there when you meet these people and you show ’em that you’re just like them.”

He added, “We were all in Miami for F1 and we went to meet and talk about some business and things and we had a nice little dinner.“

Interestingly enough, this meetup happened during the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix. This event had celebrity appearances that included the likes of Michael Jordan and Lewis Hamilton among others.
