The recent years have shaken up the world order. It has not been smooth sailing for people in power and especially not for normal people, the citizens. The people of the world have suffered a great deal from one problem to another. One such issue that still lingers on has affected the world has been the Ukraine and Russia conflict. Many celebrities have come in unity to spread the message against the conflict. Shaquille O’Neal also recently showed his support towards Ukraine.

This is not the first time an NBA player showed support for Ukraine. Toronto Raptors guard Svi Mykhailiuk and Sacramento Kings center Alex Len, two Ukrainian NBA players, issued a statement of support to their native country on Thursday, condemning Russia’s invasion.

The players of Sacramento Kings and Denver Nuggets also linked their arms in solidarity and held a moment of silence for Ukraine.

Shaquille O’Neal expresses his support

Shaq recently posted on Instagram to show his support for the people in Ukraine. The four worded message, “STAND UP FOR UKRAINE” was the post. He also mentioned how other people could come together to help the people in need.

Shaquille O’Neal has always voiced his opinion on global matters. He has shown repeatedly that he has a heart of gold. He has done his philanthropic and charity work beyond expectations. Moreover, Shaq always uses social media platforms to say what he feels, post what he likes, and support whoever he feels right. Shaq always speaks up for what he believes in.

The NBA world had also shown support earlier in the year through social media. The National Basketball Players Association expressed their solidarity.
