Shaquille O’Neal, although young at heart, is 50 years old. Naturally, the Los Angeles Lakers growing up in the 80s is a fact that cannot be ignored. In the recent Inside the NBA show Shaq mentioned his love for a particular song from his time had his relatively younger co-hosts scoff at him. The four-time NBA Champion couldn’t help but share his astonishment at their inability to recognize the band. A purely Shaq moment was captured on camera as he hilariously sang the song to help people recognize it.

Shaq was talking about Vanity Six, a band that was briefly popular in the 1980s. Although Jamal Crawford did recognize the song, Adam Lefkoe brushed aside the topic while taking a hilarious dig at Shaq.

Shaq’s love for Vanity Six’s ‘Sex Shooter’ wasn’t reciprocated by his colleagues

In the recent Inside the NBA show, Shaq was the butt of the jokes as he sang a popular song from the 80s, ‘sex shooter’. When his co-hosts denied any knowledge of it, he couldn’t let it go as he continued singing the lyrics.

All this was of no avail because Adam Lefkoe trolled the Lakers legend saying “We’ll read your almanac later“?

The Big Aristotle’s memory isn’t that accurate as the song was by the band Appolonia 6, renamed from Vanity Six. The band was produced by the late singer-songwriter Prince.

It was the band’s only album, which featured a single from their lead singer Appolonia. As the Lakers legend vividly remembers the short-lived band they must’ve left a lasting impact on him.?

But all of that couldn’t help his co-hosts trolling him as they were bewildered by his song choices. “It was before our time” Lefkoe decided to troll his co-host on spot. However, it wasn’t the first time that people have hit Shaq’s nerve, as people have taken a dig at his age previously.
