Myles Porter on LeBron James

Myles Porter voiced his opinion that Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant‘s power mix would be sufficient to beat any team. According to Porter, this duo didn’t require a third team member. Porter then called LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, and co to be soft. NBA players don’t appreciate the word ‘soft’. The word has degrading connotations.

The word ‘soft’ is used to describe a player who whines and groans while refusing to be physical and play attacking basketball. Players who show a lack of competitive spirit and fire to do their best on the court are also described to be ‘soft’. Additionally, when the vigor in the players’ game is lost, they are referred to by the same word.
