For the next few seconds, everything seemed okay, as even Will was seen laughing at first. Following this, however, the ‘King Richard’ star walked up and smacked Rock, before returning to his seat and yelling, “Keep my wife’s name out your f**king mouth!” Later on in the night, Smith went on to win the award for ‘Best Actor’ for his portrayal of Richard Williams.

Post what unfolded, both Smith and Rock have condemned what occurred during the event. And O’Neal, who addressed the issue on his ‘Big Shaq’ podcast, offered some words to the couple. He said, “No no he laughed and then Jada did like this. That’s when the PPL kicks in. Because all you married guys know – Unhappy wife, unhappy life.”
