Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley might never have played together in the NBA, but their chemistry off the court is on point. Fans around the world eagerly wait for their banter sessions on live TV which sometimes cross the line. On a recent episode of ‘Inside the NBA’, the crew displayed the list of All-Time Top Scorers in the NBA. Chuck currently holds the 28th position on the list but that is going to change soon. And Barkley didn’t seem too pleased about it.

James Harden of the Philadelphia 76ers was the latest player to pass Chuck on the list. The former Philadelphia 76ers star seemed visibly upset about the fact, which sent Shaq into a laughing fit. Moreover, it was evident that the Los Angeles Lakers star Russell Westbrook will soon pass Barkley as well.

Shaquille O’Neal couldn’t control his laughter as NBA stars surpass Barkley

There is no denying that Charles Barkley is one of the greatest players ever. Despite not winning an NBA championship ring, he has various accomplishments to his name and has left a significant mark on the league.

A few days ago, he was ahead of stars like James Harden and Russell Westbrook in the All-Time Scoring Leaders list. Harden recently passed him and Westbrook is next in line.

During a segment of ‘Inside the NBA’, Barkley said, “Russ gonna pass me next too. Damn, James passed me tonight, Russ gonna pass me next.”

While Barkley seemed visibly upset over this fact, four-time NBA champion Shaquille O’Neal couldn’t hold back his laughter. In fact, he had to wipe his eyes after laughing so hard. Shaq is known for his jokes trolling Barkley, which are mostly centered around the fact that the latter has not won any rings.

Meanwhile, Kenny Smith joined in the party to roast Shaq on James Harden passing him. However, Barkley decided to take the high road and congratulated Harden on his achievement.

Charles Barkley’s sense of humor is undoubtedly one of the best in his line of work. Prior to the 2021-22 NBA season All-Star Weekend, he made fun of James Harden which made LeBron James giggle while millions watched.

Harden had just made the move to the Philadelphia 76ers and had sat out the previous three games for the Brooklyn Nets. LeBron enquired whether Harden was healthy now and Barkley replied, “He got traded. He’s healthy now!”
