Aside from that, he is now an investor, a businessman, an analyst, and still contributes to basketball in many ways.
March will mark Shaq’s 50th birthday. Shaq spoke with Men’s Health about his plans for his birthday and how he is working out and staying healthy to reach his target.

His experience with the health journey was impacted by the advent of COVID, as he shared with the people.

Prior to his 50th birthday, Shaquille O’Neal plans to be in his best shape.
Over the years, Shaq has gained a lot of weight and experienced serious injuries. In the interview with Men’s Health, Shaq reveals his fitness routine, what he eats in a day, his time while he was a professional basketball player, and how he dealt with the ending of his career in the game of basketball.

During the interview, he was also asked what advice he would give to the young kids, as he mentioned:
“I would tell them to eat as healthy as possible because if not it can cost you in the long run you know you don’t want to be looked at as one of those athletes who used to be great. So my goal is to at 50 take my shirt off one time show the ladies how fine I am and then put it back.”
Having set a weight loss goal of 350 pounds, Shaq is determined to lose weight. At the time of the pandemic, he weighed 415 pounds. Since then, he has lost almost 50 pounds. As a result of his dedication, the goal is very close to being reached. Only 15 pounds need to be lost to reach the goal.

His journey to health was difficult after he lost his sister during the global pandemic.
