Likewise, one of the most dominant players of all time, Shaquille O’Neal, also has Curry as his favorite player in the league. Recently, he explained why Steph takes the crown of his favorite player.

After suffering a thumb injury that kept him out for most of the season, Steph has attacked like a thunderbolt in the last two seasons. He is back playing at an MVP caliber level and is the main reason Golden Warriors have the best record in the league. But, what do NBA greats think about the ‘Baby Face Assassin’? Shaq said: “The reason why Steph is my favorite player is because I have never seen anybody do it like he does. A lot of people think I am a hater or whatever, but its not that I’m a hater. It’s just that I have seen real greatness. If you not equal or above that, you get no props from me. Steph Curry, I’ve never seen it.” He continued, saying, “I would actually go pay to see him. And the more I hate on him, the more he shuts me up.”

Having the ‘Big Aristotle’ have such praise is a big deal. For Stephen Curry, his goal is to win another championship and the Warriors have started off on the right path. They have the best record in the league with one of the best defense as well. Curry has been a big part of their offense and continues to break his own limits.
