Shaquille O’Neal disses Kobe Bryant

In what appears to be a crowded nightclub, O’Neal started rapping about Kobe. It looks like it was a free flow of words and not something that was written previously. But we’d never know. And this was after Kobe lost the finals to the Boston Celtics in 2008.

So Shaq was rapping that Kobe couldn’t win the NBA title without him. He sang, “…Last week Kobe couldn’t do it without me…”

O’Neal left the Lakers in 2004 after losing the NBA finals to the Detroit Pistons. He signed with the Miami Heat. And Shaq won a title before Kobe. He won the title with Dwyane Wade and the Heat in 2006. 

Then Kobe and the Lakers finally reached the finals in 2008, only to lose it to rival the Boston Celtics. Also, during their three-peat from 2000 to 02, Shaquille O’Neal was the main man. And he won the Finals MVP award on all three occasions. And it is because of this reason, Shaq was gloating that Kobe couldn’t win a title without him.

But Kobe had the last laugh when he won back-to-back NBA championships in 2009 and 2010 without Shaq. And he also has 1 more championship than O’Neal has. In 2010, Bryant also had his revenge on the Celtics when he beat them in the finals. This time around, Kobe Bryant was the main man for the Lakers. And he won the finals MVP award on both occasions.
