Phil is considered by many as the greatest head coach in NBA history. He holds the NBA record for the most NBA titles as a head coach. He won six with Michael Jordan and the Bulls while winning 5 with the Los Angeles Lakers.

His first three with the Lakers were with Shaq and Kobe Bryant. Phil introduced the Triangle offense, which led to the Lakers being the most dominant team seen since Jordan’s Bulls. Jackson had a great relationship with Shaq and spoke highly of the Big Man.

But Phil did not like that and he fined Shaq for missing practice. When Shaq was asked what he thought about the fine. Shaq said, “That fine?… That —– knows what he can do with that fine.”
