He is most known for his stints with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Miami Heat, where he formed formidable partnerships with Kobe Bryant and Dwyane Wade, respectively.

With all his success, Shaq also received plenty of criticism throughout his career. He was criticized for his off-court antics and was blamed for the feud he had with Kobe. This feud led to Shaq being traded to the Miami Heat. He was also blamed for not maintaining his fitness, as he was injured in the latter half of his career.

Shaquille O’Neal on criticism

Shaq was known for his brute strength and insane power. He would just overpower opponents and his footwork helped him dominate opponents in the low post. Shaq was a very athletic player for his size, and he was known for his ferocious dunking ability. After his retirement, he joined the NBA on the TNT show as a basketball analyst.

Shaq says he valued only what the panel thinks, and he ignored the rest. This panel consisted of his mother, his two uncles, his agent, and his business manager.
