Shaquille O’Neal Reveals Tiger Woods’ Car Crash Reminded Him of Kobe Bryant’s Death

The whole of the sporting world held its breath when news about Tiger Woods’ accident surfaced on the media. The 45-year-old professional golfer took a nasty hit in his SUV and was found unconscious in Southern California. All of his closed ones were worried, and the incident triggered Shaquille O’Neal with horrific thoughts. 

Tiger Woods suffered a major blow when he crashed his car by pure accident in Southern California last month. A nearby resident found Woods unconscious on the ground with his face covered in blood. 

Everyone was in shock and grief when news first broke out about Woods’ accident. Fans and loved ones breathed a sigh of relief when the golfing great returned to a stable condition.

Life is uncertain, but it is just hard to accept the fact. Kobe Bryant’s untimely death still has many people reeled in shock, and Shaquille O’Neal is someone who still has troubles coping with Bryant’s demise. 

Shaquille O’Neal can never come to terms with the death of the Lakers icon, and he’s mentioned that several times. It is such a personal tragedy, and O’Neal did not want to face yet another loss when he learned about Woods’ accident. 

“I saw the car first and it was beat up. Nobody was in it and then I saw Tiger involved and I didn’t want to finish reading it because when I got the news about my friend Kobe just passed away, it was shocking. When I saw the picture of Tiger’s car, I was like ‘please not this,’ but I’m glad he’s okay, I wish him well,” O’Neal expressed on Entertainment Tonight.  

Of course, O’Neal would’ve gotten emotional after hearing about the crash since he’s close with Tiger Woods. The four-time NBA champion is a huge admirer of the 15-time Major winner and wishes for Woods’ good health in the upcoming weeks. 

As per BBC, Woods suffered open fractures on his lower right leg and the injuries had to be stabilized with screws and pins. It is not the ideal situation in Woods’ recovery timetable, but we’re sure he will come back stronger.
