Shaq’s marriage with Shaunie

Since then, Shaq has publicly assumed responsibility for his divorce from his ex-wife, Shaunie O’Neal. In other words, the 2000 MVP admitted that his mistakes caused the relationship to come to an end.

Shaquille O’Neal married Shaunie Nelson in December 2002. After five years together, they separated in 2007, only to get back together after a while.

In 2009, Shaunie filed for divorce citing “irreconcilable differences”, which was finalized eventually in 2011. The couple has four kids together, Shareef, Shaqir, Amirah, and Me’arah.
