The moves that took place before the trade deadline were riddled with many ups and downs. Many superstars in the league switched jerseys. While a few returned to the same team they were traded from, some felt reunited. No wonder Shaquille O’Neal’s daughter, Me’arah O’Neal, was also hyped at the trade that brought Gary Payton II back to the Golden State Warriors.

The Golden State Warriors were part of a four-team trade that involved the Atlanta Hawks, the Detroit Pistons, and the Portland Trail Blazers. The Warriors parted ways with the former number two overall pick, James Wiseman, but got one of their former players back.

James Wiseman was traded to the Detroit Pistons, while the Golden State Warriors got Gary Payton II and two future second-round picks from Atlanta. The Atlanta Hawks received Saddiq Bey, the Portland Trail Blazers got Kevin Knox, and five future second-round picks in return.

Now, the trade that has people the most hyped is Gary Payton II rocking a Warriors jersey once again. Even Me’arah O’Neal could not hide her excitement as she uploaded a post from ‘House Of Highlights’ of Payton II with a caption that said, “YESSSSIRSKIIIIII.”
