Shaquille O’Neal and Va’Shaundya Karlette “Shaunie” are wonderful examples of ex-spouses becoming friends. Even though they are ex-partners, they share a healthy relationship as parents of their five children. Having a secure, healthy environment for their kids is very important to their good growth. As a result, Shaq and his ex-wife Shaunie are doing a great job.

The Tamron Hall Show featured Shaunie in an episode back in March 2021. During the interview, she discussed her life, career, children, and ex-husband who is former NBA player Shaq. During the conversation, Shaunie revealed the fact that Shaq still wishes to be a father.

Shaunie O’Neal, the ex-wife of Shaquille O’Neal, says he wants to have more children

During the interview, when talking about how they support each other, Shaunie mentioned a few times when Shaq used to face time her. She wanted him to have a new girlfriend with whom he could share everything. She mentioned that once when they were teasing each other, Shaq told her: “wants to have more kids.”

In the interview, Shaunie expressed how she felt about that comment: “I’m like, ‘Well, knock yourself out. Have a good time with that one. I think you’ve pushed over that hill now sir,” she continues, “But whatever it is, that’s his business. But … he supports me in a relationship, I support him.”

In the interview, she spoke about their understanding of each other and their communication regarding their new relationship. As she noted, “we’re going to go to that next level.”
