Recently, Shareef O’Neal, son of NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal, signed a deal with the G-League side Ignite. Shareef had declared for the 2022 NBA draft and worked out with different teams before the draft. To his utter dismay, he went undrafted. However, the Los Angeles Lakers came calling. They offered him a spot on their Summer League team. Even though he did not get a lot of game time, Shareef displayed his skills whenever he was called upon. But he did not make the Lakers’ final roster.

Shaqir and Shareef only need the help of Shaquille O’Neal with suits

Shaquille O’Neal hit the ground running when he first joined the league. No one expected a rookie to be as dominant as he was. However, Shaq did not forget to pursue his other interests and became a musician. As for Shaqir, his interest lies in fashion. He wants to make a name for himself in the fashion world. When he was just 18 years old, Shaqir was reported to sign a six figure deal to launch a clothing line with ‘BoohooMan’. Now at age 19, that deal has been finally cemented.

“BoohooMan is a really cool brand,” Shareef O’Neal said. “We got introduced to it a few years ago by [rapper and producer] Quavo. They did a little collab and he had so many clothes and he gave us some and we were rocking it back in like 2019.”

While talking about fashion, Shareef said that O’Neal’s fashion sense is no better than his and Shaqir’s. He said that he likes the way Shaq dressed when he was younger but not right now. However, the 22-year-old hooper admitted that he and his siblings still need the Lakers legend’s help when it comes to suits.
