Los Angeles Lakers legend Shaquille O’Neal has retired from the NBA for more than a decade. And as it goes, once NBA players retire from the league, most of them let go of their physique. Since they don’t have to play or perform at a high level, players tend to just kick back and relax during their retirement. 

But not Shaquille O’Neal. Even at 50 years of age, Shaq is still strong and ripped as any current player right now in the NBA. O’Neal is 7’1″ and weighs more than 300 pounds. But that does not stop him from getting shredded. 

Shaquille O’Neal has put in the work

There was a time Shaq had let go of his body after retirement as well. But he realized that it was not the type of physique he wanted. And O’Neal started putting in the work, even putting long-time friend Arnold Schwarzenegger to shame. 

Schwarzenegger was once shocked to see O’Neal’s speed and agility on the court. For a seven-footer to move up and down the court with such ease, despite his weight and height had ‘The Terminator’ baffled.

Now O’Neal went to Instagram to show off his rocking physique. And fans could not get enough of it. However, it wasn’t just fans but Shaq’s own son Shareef O’Neal too was taken aback by his father’s amazing physique. 

Shaquille O’Neal captioned the video, “#THOTDADDYTHURSDAY STARTS TODAY.” And a number of celebrities commented on his video, including both Nischelle Turner and Spice Adams, co-hosts of Shaq’s podcast called ‘The Big Podcast With Shaq.’ 

Plus it wasn’t just celebrities but even his son Shareef O’Neal commented on his father’s Instagram video. He commented, “THOT DADDY THURSDAY IS CRAZY!!” 

O’Neal always finds a way to shock the world and break the internet every now and then. Be it painting his toenails, getting punched by a three-foot UFC sensation, or dancing with Bollywood stars. 

Shaq is likely going to rub it in the face of Charles Barkley

There isn’t much that O’Neal cannot pull off like a boss. And fans love it. Even people who are not basketball fans often dig O’Neal’s hilarious antics.

Looks like the Big Aristotle has set some goals for people and NBA legends out there. And you can be sure that O’Neal will be taking shots at his close friend Charles Barkley too.
