While Shaquille O’Neal and  Shaunie O’Neal are divorced, they still enjoy a strong relationship. They are doing an excellent job of co-parenting their children. During the Tamron Hall Show, Shaunie shared her experiences and answered many questions about her personal life, her children, and how she and Shaq were handling co-parenting.

Among other things, she talked about wanting Shaq to get a girlfriend so he would stop bothering her. She shared the ways they tease each other while also supporting each other in their relationships.

After many years of marriage, the couple started having issues in 2007 and Shaunie called it quits in 2009. The divorce was finalized in 2011. While they were married for nine long years and even after their divorce, one thing that never changed was their respect for one another.

The former couple has four children together- Shareef, Amirah, Shaqir, and Me’arah. Myles is Shaunie’s son from a previous relationship. Shaq and his former girlfriend, Arnetta Yardbourgh, also have a daughter together, named Taahirah. As has always been the case in the industry, ex-spouses don’t get along that well, but here it is a completely different story.

Shaquille O’Neal told Shaunie O’Neal that he wants more children

During the interview, the celebrity mom talked about her relationship and understanding with the former NBA player. In the course of her conversation, she said that she wants Shaq to get settled. She said:

“I used to tease him and be like, ‘Could you please hurry up and get a wife? And then you could stop, you know, randomly FaceTiming me and talking about your day? Like … get a girlfriend or something,’” Shaunie suggested.

Furthermore, Shaq does want to have more children. The statement goes: “He always tells me he wants to have more kids. I’m like ‘Well knock yourself out, have a good time with that one. I think you’ve pushed over that hill now sir,’. But whatever it is, that’s his business,” Shaunie concluded.
