The couple’s only daughter, Christiana, got married to beau Ilya Hoffman on March 6, 2021. The same week, before the wedding, the bride’s father appeared on Jimmy Kimmel’s show. Interestingly, he did not hesitate to give itty bitty details of the big day. Barkley referred to Christiana as “the most important thing” in his life. Therefore, he was excited about her special day. The NBA legend also hilariously said that he told her daughter that this would be the only wedding he would be paying for.

During their conversation, Kimmel noticed that Barkley looked thin. Chuck replied that it was because he would be lifted up at the wedding as per Jewish customs. Therefore, he was aiming to lose a couple of pounds for that tradition alone.

“I gave her a choice. She could be stupid and use all the money on her wedding or she could get a really nice wedding gift. And she chose a cheaper wedding and a really nice gift. So, she did a really good job,” said Barkley.
