Parents boasting about their kids’ achievements is a common sight. However, you don’t give out praises like free lunch when you are a Hall of Famer, and a 4x NBA champion, with six kids. But according to Shaquille O’Neal, his youngest daughter (16) deserves all the praise in the world.
Los Angeles Lakers legend and one of the most dominant centers to ever play the game, Shaquille O’Neal, has lived quite the life. O’Neal has it all, a Hall of Fame career, hundreds of millions of dollars in net worth, global popularity, and much more. However, the thing that tops his list of priorities is his family. O’Neal has fathered six children over the years. In an appearance on a recent podcast show, despite his infamous parenting style, O’Neal had high praise for one of his daughters.

Shaquille O’Neal recently appeared on a podcast named ‘2 lies & 1 truth’ hosted by the professional wrestler Brandi Rhodes. In the episode, they talked for nearly an hour about various topics around kids and family.
“I Don’t Want to Degrade Them”: Shaquille O’Neal on the 2 Mothers of His 6 “Beautiful” Kids
In one of the segments in the episode, Rhodes asked O’Neal about where his kids are in life and whether some are into basketball. O’Neal started by mentioning the achievements of his eldest son, Shareef O’Neal. He talked about how Shareef went to the coveted basketball program of LSU in college. O’Neal also mentioned that Shareef went to the NBA draft and is now is in the NBA development league. He ended the tangent by wishing well for his son’s future.

Subsequently, he talked about his youngest daughter, Me’arah O’Neal. He then proceeded to crown her as the best athlete in the family. O’Neal said, “She is 6’4”, and she is really good; her name is Me’arah O’Neal.” From his words, O’Neal is optimistic about his 6’4” daughter’s future.

The Big Diesel is the father of six children with two different women, two of whom are millionaires. With his first wife, now Shaunie Henderson, he had Shareef, Amirah, Shaqir, and Me’arah. O’Neal had another daughter named Taahirah O’Neal with his long-time girlfriend, Arnetta Yardbourgh. And finally, Myles B O’Neal, is his stepson from one of Shaunie’s previous relationships.
