Patricia Reilly, who offered tremendous support to Wright during his coaching days, had her time off to do whatever she wanted. In the interview Barkley, while talking about post-retirement life, questioned Wright, “So you have been at home every day. She sick of you yet?”

Wright, unable to control his laughter, replied, “Yo best thing is when she plays tennis like. I’m home preparing games or we go down to Florida, she’s out playing member-member golf tournaments. She’s living the life I wanted to live, man. I don’t know how I screwed this up.”

However, this seems to be the same life Barkley is living. Since his retirement, the 1993 MVP has often spent time playing golf, which is something Jay Wright wished he could do as well. Hopefully, Wright gets to use his post-retirement time to follow a similar path as Barkley.
