Shock Waves Across NBA Twitter as James Harden Catches Fire on 76ers Debut Alongside Joel Embiid

New Philadelphia 76ers shooting guard James Harden played his first game with the team. His performance has been exactly what Daryl Morey expected of him when the trade deal was made. His performance for the franchise was exceptional and it put the team on a whole new level.

In his debut for the team, Harden scored 27 points on 7-of-12 shooting, dished out 12 assists, had eight rebounds, and committed only two turnovers. As a result, they won 133-102 on Friday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Following this match, NBA Twitter went crazy as James caught fire along with Joel Embiid on 76er’s debut. They all went bonkers over Harden’s performance. Upon hearing about the trade, the fans waited to see who would benefit from it. With their new shooting guard, it appears the 76ers are all set to make some changes in this season’s championship. There is a strong resemblance between the 76ers’ harden and Houston Rockets’ harden.

In the game, James had a game-high plus/minus of +35. With Harden making great shots on the court, Embiid took the opportunity and scored 34 points, and grabbed ten rebounds. At the post-game media conference, he spoke about playing with James and stated: “I mean, he used to say Scary Hours. I say scary minutes.”

Embiid added, “I’m just excited for us to be healthy. I got to keep doing what I’ve been doing and I’m sure my teammates are gonna follow. We’re pretty excited about what we can accomplish.”

One of the most interesting moments was seeing Harden play alongside Embiid. Together, they were a great matchup. They were responsible for almost 50% of the 76ers’ final score. At the time of the trade, there were many questions about how the team would manage the offense between Harden and Embiid. As of now, they are doing quite well in that regard.

There were many NBA fans who were enthralled by the performance and shared their views on Twitter. Several referred to the performance as “Scary Hours”. The two were compared to the great duo Shaquille O’Neal and Kobe Bryant had when they played together. Consequently, the expectations are enormous.

Embiid expressed his views regarding their performance after the game, stating, “You should have seen my face every single time,” Embiid said. “That was probably the most wide open I’ve ever been in my career. I had a lot of easy baskets.”
