The Golden State Warriors suffered a disappointing loss and elimination from this year’s Playoffs. The Los Angeles Lakers were able to win the series in six games, sending the defending champions packing in the second round. This was the first time the Warriors lost a Western Conference series under Steve Kerr. Although the core of the team looks set to continue fighting for another championship, it seems like some of Stephen Curry’s teammates may find a new home in the offseason.
The Golden State Warriors were not able to lock in for Game 6 of the series against the Los Angeles Lakers. It was solely Stephen Curry putting the team on his back, trying to extend the series. But after their elimination, a 20-year-old star’s future may seem dark with the team.

After their loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, Warriors stars Stephen Curry and Draymond Green shared a word with each other in the locker room. This could’ve been the last time these two players share the court together.
Draymond Green has a player option in his contract this summer and is being reportedly pursued by LeBron James’ Lakers. So, after their loss, the Warriors defensive leader asked the Baby-faced Assassin, “What are we supposed to do now?” To that, Curry was clear as to where his focus was, saying, “I’ve got to figure out Mother’s Day now,” as per reports from The Athletic. But even after their loss, there is a huge question surrounding the Warriors’ young forward, Jonathan Kuminga.

Kuminga is the least of the Warriors’ worries
Parting ways with Jonathan Kuminga may be the least of the Warriors’ worries. The team may have to sever ties with Draymond Green this offseason as well. Green has played with the Warriors since the start of his NBA career.
However, his altercation with Jordan Poole at the start of the season may play a big part in the Warriors’ decision not to bring Green back to the team. Also, Golden State’s front office has to make a big decision surrounding Klay Thompson.
