The game between the Memphis Grizzlies and the Philadelphia 76ers ended up getting a little too out of hand. During the first quarter of the game, Dillon Brooks and James Harden got into a scuffle that led to their teammates intervening. However, that wasn’t the end of it as another altercation took place during crunch time which involved a lot of players from both teams once again.

With 9.4 seconds left in the game, the 76ers had a three-point lead with the possession of the ball. The 76ers had the game in the palm of their hands and it seemed like things were wrapped up. However, the Grizzlies didn’t take the loss well.

With the clock winding down, 76ers forward Georges Niang inbounded the ball to Tobias Harris. However, Harris was immediately double-teamed by Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr. After a foul was called, Niang decided to swipe the ball off of Jackson Jr. which led to the start of the altercation.

Fans on social media seemingly had enough of Brooks trying to be a part of every altercation. One fan tweeted, “Maxey should have swung on brooks for putting up that stinker” as it was Tyrese Maxey who was holding off Brooks to the end.

Another fan commented, “When is brooks going to be suspended for being a dirty player?! And why is he not labeled a dirty player yet?”

Here are a few more reactions from fans on Twitter.

Although the altercation was between Jackson and Niang, fans couldn’t take more of Brooks trying to be a part of it. James Harden led the 76ers in scoring with 31 points and Embiid chimed in with 27 points and 19 rebounds as they defeated the Grizzlies 110-105. Harden has been silently having an excellent season as the 76ers continue to roll.

Is Dillon Brooks trying to establish himself as a dirty player?

Dillon Brooks is only increasing the number of altercations he is being a part of. Since last year’s playoffs, Brooks first locked horns with the entire Golden State Warriors team, trying to turn their matchups into a rivalry. Plus his history with flagrant fouls against the Warriors in their playoff matchup last year is well documented.

Then the Canadian basketball player was one of the main reasons why the altercation with NFL legend Shannon Sharpe took place during the game against the Los Angeles Lakers. And if that wasn’t enough, almost everyone knows the fight between Brooks and Donovan Mitchell.
