The Warriors won the game 97-119 against the Sacramento team. Stephen Curry scored 25 points with seven rebounds and six assists. Whereas Thompson scored 29 points and Kevon Looney secured 16 rebounds for his team. Coach Steve Kerr motivated his team with a “no excuse” mindset, as he explained that the squad has no reason to not give the game their everything. After the game, Thompson made a bold claim regarding the team’s prowess, if they are all fit and healthy.

Thompson said, “I don’t see a team who can beat us in a seven-game series when we’re healthy.” The four-time NBA champion’s claim came in the wake of a difficult regular season.

Other than that, he also pointed out three different areas where the team needs to be more careful. Thompson said, better communication on defense, not going for bad shots, and valuing the ball will be the key for the Warriors. While the Warriors await the postseason, Thompson’s cocky claim generated a lot of buzz on Twitter, prompting fans to point out the unpredictable campaign the Dubs had so far this season.
