The past season was historic for Stephen Curry. The Golden State Warriors guard won his first ever Finals MVP award, leading the franchise to their fourth title in eight years. However, in midst of a dominating run in the NBA, the Baby Face Assassin took out time to fulfill a promise he made back in 2009. Before his berth in the NBA, Curry wasn’t a high-ranked athlete. Only a few colleges were ready with offers for him. But Davidson’s coach Bob McKillop saw something special. Arguably, the best athlete out of his college, the 2016 unanimous MVP soon became a household name.
