A prime-time commentator for the NBA, O’Neal is liked by people for his humorous and witty commentary. Dedicating his life to entertaining people, ‘Shaq’ has gained a lot of fans along the way. However, the player once revealed a conversation he had with a person, who wanted to see him lose.

When Shaquille O’Neal met a hater

Shaquille O’Neal was once told by his hater straight up on his face that he hates him. Shaq must be used to listening to people say this behind his back or on social media. But, hearing it straight up must’ve surprised even Shaq.

After hearing the guy say that to him, The Lakers legend humorously said that he hates the guy too and asked him to talk about it. He did this only to get the conversation going and understand what made him hate him. When asked about the reason for the skinny guy’s hatred for him, the guy said, “Cause you’re so dominating, it’s unfair.”

The guy also added that, along with hating him, he would want to see Shaq lose. Now, if it were for anyone else, they would’ve reacted and made a deal out of it. Shaq instead said that he had a conversation with him about it rather than reacting and, that way, understood the guy.

Using his witty skills and humorous abilities, Shaq deals with the hate easily. He encounters it often enough, even in his commentating career. Thus, remembering how that person hated him and the reason for it, Shaq talked about how he dealt with such situations.
