

Michael Jordan is one of the biggest names in the game of basketball and sports in general. After dominating the game for a decade and a half, Michael is used to getting what he wants. After retiring from the game, Jordan now owns the Charlotte Hornets and has multiple side businesses. He is also one of the richest athletes in the world of sports. But it looks like even a legend like Jordan doesn’t always get what he wants.

According to a recent tweet, rapper Snoop Dogg once turned down an offer put forth by MJ. Snoop said, “One of the craziest deals I turned down, it was like $2 million to DJ for — I think it was a Michael Jordan event… And I turned it down.”

After being asked why he turned down the offer to DJ for Jordan, he gave an amusing answer. Snoop said, “Cause I was doing some other s**t. I had s**t to do, and I had way more customers before I get to you.” When asked whether he had ever met Jordan, Snoop said he hadn’t but said that he really wants to meet Jordan “as a fan.”
Michael Jordan was a force to be reckoned with
Jordan, in his playing days, was a force never seen before. His offensive skills are still considered to be the greatest of any player. And he matched that offensive firepower with an elite defensive skill set. In 1988, he became the first player to win the MVP and the Defensive Player of the Year in the same year.

But early in his career, he lacked team success. This would change for the better with the arrivals of Phil Jackson and Scottie Pippen.

After getting his coach and co-star right, there was no looking back for ‘His Airness.’ The Bulls would go 6-0 in the NBA Finals led by Michael. And Jordan won six NBA Finals MVPs for them.
