Ever since Kobe Bryant passed away last year, his memories have continued to live on. Family members, colleagues, and fans grieved together after an unfortunate helicopter crash took away the greatest basketball player, inspiration, and Lakers legend.

The tragedy struck even harder as his daughter Gianna Bryant and seven others in the helicopter didn’t survive the crash either. In fact, it is news nobody can fathom to date. However, people have found a way to celebrate his legacy instead of mourning his death. And this is not just limited to NBA players, but other athletes as well, including football star Neymar Jr.

Everybody knows that Paris Saint-Germain striker Neymar Jr. is a tattoo fanatic. He is known for his intriguing choices, including the likes of superheroes like Superman, Batman, and Goku. However, last year in December, Neymar got something to remember Kobe by. The quote that he got etched on his right thigh was one of Kobe’s most famous quotes.

In a bold and huge font, the tattoo reads, “People don’t understand how obsessed I am with winning.” It was probably something that the star footballer relates to as well. And once again, he took to Instagram to flaunt what was a tribute to Bryant.

The Lakers‘ legend will get inducted into the Hall of Fame in May. Along with him, Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan will also be given the honor. Kobe’s career speaks volumes about why he deserves this. In fact, it is possible that Kobe and his family will also be a part of the ceremony.

What better way is there to keep his legacy alive? From becoming the face of the league to impacting people all over the world, he has done it all. All his accolades aren’t enough to describe the person he was and will be remembered by.
