‘Sorry A**’: Jimmy Butler Roasts Miami Heat Teammates Despite Win vs Thunder

Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler is one of the most adept players in the NBA. NBA fans often refer to Butler popularly as “Jimmy Buckets”. The five-time NBA All Star is one of the key players in the Miami Heat squad. At Miami Heat, they have always surrounded Butler with stars like Tyler Herro, Kyle Lowry, Duncan Robinson, Max Strus, and others.

The Miami Heat started their season in exquisite form with a win against last season’s NBA champions, the Milwaukee Bucks. Jimmy Butler scored 21 points in their first win as he led the team to victory alongside Tyler Herro. Miami Heat continued their impressive form with a win against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Butler missed the game with an injury, but he supported his teammates from the sidelines. After the game, he hilariously roasted some of his teammates on his Instagram stories.

Heat players like Kyle Lowry, Duncan Robinson, and Max Strus faced the brunt of Butler’s jokes. He sarcastically blamed Lowry for a turnover but apologized with “sorry a**“. Max Strus received a “This is the one @maxstrus airballed” comment from Butler where a photo shows Strus attempting an ambitious three pointer. Butler roasted Duncan Robinson, saying, “he stinks” as he posted a photo of Robinson allegedly missing a shot.

Butler started his career with the Chicago Bulls in 2010 when they selected him as the 30th overall pick in the 2011 NBA draft. He left them for the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2017 before joining the Philadelphia 76ers in 2018. Butler joined the Heat in 2019 via a sign and trade.

The Heat beat the OKC Thunder as Jimmy Butler misses game

The Miami Heat defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in an away game at Chesapeake Energy Center. Jimmy Butler was missed by the Heat as he had to sit out because of a sprained right ankle. He averages 23.6 points per game. Butler missed his third straight game while Bam Adebayo missed the game with a bruised left knee.

Tyler Herro led the Heat, scoring 26 points followed by Duncan Robinson with 21 points. Luguentz Dort scored 20 points for the OKC Thunder as Shai Gilgeous Alexander added a season low 10 points. The Heat will host the New Orleans Rockets at home next as they look to extend their two game winning streak.
