“Sour Knicks Fans”: NBA Twitter Goes Berserk as LeBron James Buries the Knicks for Ignoring Kevin Durant

LeBron James and Kevin Durant may not be the best of friends, but that doesn’t mean the two do not respect each other. James commented on Kevin Durant’s insane form this season.

Although LeBron James and the Lakers have been poor all season, he went on to publicly praise Kevin Durant and the Brooklyn Nets.

Ahead of the Lakers and Brooklyn Nets clash on Boxing Day, James mentioned how only one section of fans doubted the return of Durant. This has caused a war on social media platforms, especially Twitter.

James said, “There was zero doubt that I knew he would come back full strength. He’s not a guy who carries a bunch of muscle and a bunch of weight on his body. Very slender and slim and so it’s like it wasn’t much pounding going on in that particular area that he had to worry about. He doesn’t look like someone that sits around and doesn’t take care of what he needs to take care of. So, it was never a question about KD coming back from any injury.”

New York Knicks and Brooklyn Nets were the prime candidates to land the signature of Durant two seasons ago. Durant chose the Nets over the New York Knicks which led to their fans becoming toxic on social media.
