Space Jam 2: A New Legacy might not have lived up to the expectations that the one with Michael Jordan’s did. However, LeBron James still managed to break box office records and proved to his haters that he was no less. The concept of putting Looney toons next to a player as great as Michael Jordan must have sounded bizarre at first but we all know what a big hit it eventually became.
For many years there was talk about making a sequel and that too with Michael Jordan but never came to fruition. Instead, his rival and the man who is compared to MJ every step of the way, LeBron James took it upon himself to star with Bugs Bunny and the rest of the gang. However, this one was very different from the concept that MJ starred in.
It is about a father, who is LeBron, and his son’s relationship. And understanding each other until they get stuck in a world of cartoons and then Bron has to play basketball along with the Looney Toons. It also has appearances from other NBA players and included cartoons from other realms in the audience during the games.
