Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James dropped one of the most anticipated films, ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’, in 2021. However, it did not get the same reaction as expected. The first version of the film starred Michael Jordan, that saw outstanding success in the Box Office.

Recently, James was nominated for the ‘Favorite movie’ category in the Kid’s Choice Awards Show. However, Spiderman: No Way Home actor Tom Holland won the award over the 4 time NBA champion.

Talking about his win, Holland said, “I wanted to take the time say a massive thank you because you guys made Spiderman: No Way Home your favorite film of the year. Now, I just won one of these. But, the most amazing thing about this is, that LeBron James was nominated for the same award. Now, for me personally, I cannot foresee any scenario in the future where I beat LeBron James in anything.”

Interestingly enough, this was not unexpected. The film has received hatred from NBA fans that has led to the film having negative reviews.

LeBron released the highly expected sequel to ‘Space Jam’ was released on 2021. The fans have accused the film of being overly commercial in contrast to the first version of Space Jam starring Michael Jordan.

Furthermore, the Lakers star also won ‘The Razzie’ award for being the ‘Worst Actor’. In addition to this, LeBron also took home the ‘Worst Movie’ award. Interestingly enough, he is not the first one to do so. Stars like Dennis Rodman and Shaquille O’Neal have won the award in the past.
