DeMar DeRozan is among one of the best shooting guards in the league. However, ever since he joined the Spurs, the 4-time All-Star has not been the same player.
Since the trade went down, his contributions have seen a decline. But it might be due to the personal struggles he has been going through. DeRozan has been quite open about his struggles with dealing through depression.

“Why do we listen to music? Our music changes every single day, probably because we can relate to it and makes us feel better. It’s the same way with people. But so many people are scared to share their story and want to sit in front of another person because they’re scared of being judged.”
However, DeRozan himself is feeling better about himself. He said:
“To me, I just got to a point where can’t nobody come at me or degrade me for what type of man I am because I know what I’ve been through.”
It is good to hear that DeRozan is a better place now, hopefully he can make a huge comeback this year and lead the Spurs.
