Apparently, while Dray was addressing the media on Saturday, he was asked if the league has created ‘Draymond Rules’ to tackle his antics. The 4x-NBA champion explained he does not care if such rules exist. Besides, he added that he will play the game the way he always played. The usage ‘Draymond Rules’ is reminiscent of the infamous ‘Jordan Rules’ employed by the Detroit Pistons to stop Michael Jordan from scoring. At the heart of the ‘Jordan Rules’ was the use of physical force. The very employment of such a crude defensive strategy meant that Michael Jordan was a scoring machine and teams had to resort to such physical ways to stop him from adding points to his tally.
