Stan Van Gundy on LeBron:

Van Gundy has mentioned in the past why he feels LeBron James is better than MJ. Steve is a fan of LeBron’s longevity, which is considered one of his strongest attributes.

It obviously is very close. They both play both ends of the floor. The only thing I’ll say in LeBron’s favor is I think [he’s a] better passer, getting other people involved, so the edge is this slight,” mentioned Van Gundywhile speaking to ESPN.

Van Gundy replied to comments under his tweet and was all but praise for LeBron James. James has 4 championships while also being consistent for so many years, which puts James over Michael Jordan in Van Gundy’s books.

Michael Jordan vs LeBron James:

The most debated topic in the world of basketball is Michael Jordan vs LeBron James. With fans from both sides ready to defend their idols, it is very rare to see a fruitful discussion.

Although Michael Jordan clearly has more championships and more accolades to his name, many consider LeBron James to be superior. The reason is his consistency, longevity, and versatility. LeBron has been performing to the top of his game for the past 18 seasons now and Jordan had already retired before he hit year 18.
