The 2023 five-star recruit has decided to play college basketball for Stanford. But the fans are unimpressed with his decision. They have shot it down and come to the conclusion that he may not be as good.

In September 2022, Andrej shortlisted four colleges for their basketball programs. Oregon, Texas, UCLA, and Stanford were the names on his college selection list. He ruled out Virginia and Duke from the list as per reports.

Stojakovic admitted that each school had been trying to vet him. They had been encouraging him to come on board. He looked at Stanford as a program that could take him beyond basketball.

NBA world zooms in on its progeny

Before making the decision, Andrej Stojakovic had visited all four colleges. He is ranked No.24 in the ESPN 100 for the next year’s class. The NBA world was delighted to see glimpses of his father in his performances. His scoring and passing ability are as sharp as his off-the-ball movement and spacing.

His father, Peja Stojakovic was a 3x All-Star. He was best known to be part of the Sacramento Kings. However, he got his championship ring when he played for the Dallas Mavericks.
