The 26-year-old hooper also took to his Instagram story and shared one of the accolades of his grandpa. He shared a picture of his grandparents standing in front of a street sign named after him along with the caption, “Man was a goat back home got his own street.”

Apart from his grandson, Gabrielle Union and many others took to their social media to express their feelings. Union poured down an emotional message on Twitter. She wrote, “Feeling lucky to have experienced his smile & laugh & his enormous talent for the Beasley family and all who were blessed to bask in his light.”

Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell expressed his condolences through a comment on Malik Beasley’s Instagram post. Interestingly, Hollywood star Chris Pratt recently revealed a little-known fact about grandpa Beasley and his grandson, which Malik Beasley also shared on his story, captioning it, “Just weeks before (teary-eyed emoji),” to convey how recent it was. John Beasley had predicted that Malik would become an NBA star!
