Unfortunately, Union’s beloved co-star recently passed away, and she took to social media and penned an emotional note for the actor. Along with her, NBA star Donovan Mitchell and thousands of fans shared their condolences as well.

The millionaire actress, who has been making waves in the entertainment world, turned into a full-time professional actor by accident after her modeling internship fetched her a few roles. Veteran Hollywood actor John Beasley passed away at the age of 79 in Omaha, Nebraska. Beasley acted in over 26 films in his three-decade-long career. Notably, the current generation recognizes him for his work in the Walking Tall film series.

Several reports suggested that the actor had undergone multiple liver tests before passing away. Moreover, the actor’s grandson, Malik Beasley, who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, took to his social media and penned an emotional message.

The 26-year-old hooper also took to his Instagram story and shared one of the accolades of his grandpa. He shared a picture of his grandparents standing in front of a street sign named after him along with the caption, “Man was a goat back home got his own street.”

Apart from his grandson, Gabrielle Union and many others took to their social media to express their feelings. Union poured down an emotional message on Twitter. She wrote, Feeling lucky to have experienced his smile & laugh & his enormous talent for the Beasley family and all who were blessed to bask in his light.”

Cleveland Cavaliers star Donovan Mitchell expressed his condolences through a comment on Malik Beasley’s Instagram post. Interestingly, Hollywood star Chris Pratt recently revealed a little-known fact about grandpa Beasley and his grandson, which Malik Beasley also shared on his story, captioning it, “Just weeks before (teary-eyed emoji),” to convey how recent it was. John Beasley had predicted that Malik would become an NBA star!
